Talisker Neist Point is a single malt inspired by the rugged and majestic landscape of Neist Point, the westernmost point of the Isle of Skye. Crafted from gently aged rare malt, it beautifully balances Talisker's signature spice, intensity, and rich sweetness. The nose opens with notes of used match and pepper, followed by oceanic flavors reminiscent of brine and seaweed. Layers of freshly baked malt smoothness, ripe red fruit, and the subtle grain of planed wood add depth. The palate opens sweetly, leading to saltiness and a subtle touch of honey, before culminating in a savory finish reminiscent of heavily seasoned homemade chips, with notes of dark chocolate and chilli pepper adding depth. The finish is long and warm, with prominent impressions of hot smoke and mint, gradually layered with nuances of wood ash, dark chocolate ginger and beach tar, before a subtle chili heat and smoky finish linger.
