Terms of Service

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms define the rights, obligations and responsibilities between The Liquor (the “Company”) and users regarding the use of the spirit information search and content services (the “Service”).

Article 2 — Definitions

  1. Service means the information services provided by the Company via the website or application (product information, reviews, ratings, content, etc.).
  2. User means any person using the Service under these Terms, including members and non-members.
  3. Member means a user who has provided personal information and created an account to use the Service.
  4. Content refers to all information provided within the Service including text, images, ratings and reviews.

Article 3 — Nature and Scope of the Service

  1. The Service is an information platform and does not handle sales, brokerage, mediation or delivery of alcoholic products.
  2. The Company is not involved in purchases, transactions, shipping or payments for alcoholic products and assumes no legal responsibility for such activities.
  3. Information provided in the Service is for reference only; the Company does not guarantee completeness, accuracy or timeliness.

Article 4 — Effect and Amendment of Terms

  1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise notified to users.
  2. The Company may amend the Terms within the bounds of applicable law, and will provide prior notice when changes are made.
  3. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service.

Article 5 — Membership and Management

  1. Membership is completed when the user agrees to the Terms and Privacy Policy and provides the required information.
  2. Members are responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
  3. The Company may restrict or terminate membership if any of the following occur:
    • Provision of false information
    • Infringement of others’ rights
    • Violation of laws or the Terms

Article 6 — User Obligations

Users must not engage in the following conduct:

  • Actions that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Infringement of others’ honor, copyrights, or personal information
  • Interference with Service operations
  • Use for illegal trading, purchase on behalf of others, or mediation of alcoholic products

Article 7 — Copyright of Content

  1. Copyrights to content provided by the Company belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders.
  2. Content submitted by users, such as reviews and ratings, may be used by the Company for operation and promotion within the scope of the Service.

Article 8 — Advertising and Partnership Content

  1. The Company may provide advertising or partnership content to support service operation and content provision.
  2. Advertising and partnership content may be provided through collaboration with manufacturers, importers, distributors and event organizers.
  3. The Company does not engage in sales, purchase mediation, brokerage, delivery, or payment through advertising or partnership content.
  4. Users should refer to advertising or partnership content at their own discretion; the Company bears no responsibility for disputes between users and partners.
  5. The Company may label content to indicate that it is an advertisement.

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

  1. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, system failures, or other unavoidable events.
  2. The Company is not responsible for damages resulting from users relying on information provided by the Service.
  3. The Company will not intervene in disputes between users or between users and third parties.

Article 10 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes shall be subject to the competent court under civil procedure law.
