Talisker 57° North is a premium high-proof (57% ABV) single malt named after the latitude of the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye (57 degrees North). Matured in refill American oak, it brings Talisker’s signature oceanic, smoky, and peppery spices to life. The nose reveals smoky, peaty notes and a salty sea breeze, followed by lemon zest and a faint menthol nuance. On the palate, smoky vegetable peat and stewed pear fruit develop over a subtle sweetness, with complex layers of tar, dry oak, salt, and pepper. The finish is long and smoky, with a lingering, intense peppery spice, reminiscent of cracked black pepper.
