Mellow Corn is produced according to the unique standards that define Straight Corn Whiskey. Distilled from a mash containing at least 80% corn, it is aged for four years in used bourbon barrels. Unlike the deep amber color of other bourbons or American whiskeys produced in newly charred oak barrels, Mellow Corn aged in used barrels develops a light, straw-colored color. Heaven Hill Distillery is one of the few remaining producers of this unique whiskey.
