Comprised of 17-year-old whiskies hand-selected by Eddie Russell for perfectly balanced flavors, this Master's Keep series is aged in both brick and wood vats. Eddie knew that the constant temperature of brick vats imparted a smooth, earthy flavor to the bourbon, while the wide temperature fluctuations of wood vats allowed the whiskey to absorb even more of the vanilla, caramel, and oak notes of the oak barrels. Initially 107 proof, this Master's Keep whiskey was bottled at a lower 86.8 proof (43.4%) after a unique aging process. With meticulous attention to the smallest details of each barrel, Eddie Russell has created a truly unique bourbon with this 17-year-old masterpiece.
