Derived from a very special, one-of-a-kind 1995 Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso seasoned European oak butt, this 25-year-old whisky has gently tamed the meaty, intense power characteristic of Motlach. Nicknamed the ‘lone wolf’ for standing out from the pack, it is exceptionally complex and rich. The second release of Prima & Ultima was personally selected by Master of Malt Maureen Robinson. “This is a rare glimpse into the nobler, deeper side of what is famously known as the Beast of Dufftown,” she said. “This whisky is simply delicious. A magnificent, multi-layered, matured malt with a character as individual as the unique and complex distillery from which it was created.”
