Bottled exclusively for the UK market, this complex, bronze-hued malt whisky was initially matured for over eight years in premium American oak ex-bourbon barrels. To add even greater depth and flavor, this unpeated Scotch was then finished for approximately 42 months in specially selected Marsala casks. Marsala barrels, a fortified wine from the Italian island of Sicily, create a harmonious palate bursting with sweet fruit and smooth caramel, leading to a velvety mouthfeel and a long finish. Bottled at 48% ABV without the addition of artificial colours or chill filtration.
