Matured malt and grain whiskies are blended and then re-matured (married) to allow the whiskies to deeply blend. "From the Barrel" is bottled after this re-maturation process with minimal addition of water, resulting in a distinctive 51% ABV whisky. It is characterized by a robust flavor, a coke-like texture, and a rich, lingering aroma.
