Suntory Whisky White
Product Info
In 1923, Shinjiro Torii, who pioneered whisky production in Japan, launched Suntory Whisky as Japan's first domestically produced whisky in 1929 (Showa 4). Initially, the brand name was simply "Suntory Whisky," but due to its white label, it came to be called "Shirofuda" (White Card). After the war, it gained popularity among whisky enthusiasts and was commonly referred to as "Shiro." For this reason, it was renamed to its current "White" name in 1964.
