Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream is the fifth release in the award-winning A Tale Of… series, which showcases the endless imagination of whisky creators. Dr. Bill began imagining how to capture the sumptuous flavors of ice cream parlor in a single malt, bringing out the sweeter, creamier vanilla-based notes of Glenmorangie spirit. After much experimentation, he and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald combined a single malt aged in bourbon casks with the first whisky finished in high vanillin casks. These new oak casks have been specially toasted to bring out even richer vanilla characteristics, and with notes of ripe peach, vanilla, and coconut, A Tale of Ice Cream elevates Glenmorangie's sweet, fruity flavors to an extremely rich peak. This whiskey's pastel-toned packaging box evokes the mouthwatering colors, swirls of sauce, textures, and toppings found in the most luxurious ice cream.
