Inspired to capture the multi-layered sensory experience of Tokyo and experiment with rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks for the first time, Dr Bill combined Glenmorangie partially matured in Mizunara oak with whiskies spent in sherry and bourbon casks to create a unique limited edition that perfectly balances the Glenmorangie house style. The unique and complex flavour profile derived from the combination of Mizunara, bourbon, and sherry casks reveals notes of pepper, bitter cherry, and tantalizing orange zest, intertwined with notes of incense and sweet oak.
