Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest, with its captivating lush, green, herbal aromas, is Glenmorangie's first whisky crafted from barley kiln with woodland botanicals. Inspired by the ever-changing natural wonders encountered during walks through the woods near his home, Glenmorangie Whisky Creation Director Dr. Bill Lumsden revived the ancient method of kiln-ing barley with botanicals, selecting juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers. This single malt evokes the scents, sounds, and sights of the forest, enveloping the senses with aromas of pine needles, juniper, and coriander, tinged with subtle smoke. Deep green eucalyptus flavors are complemented by a hint of bitter orange, easing into a slow, smooth oaky finish. The fragrant, deep forest world of the whisky also inspired illustrator Pomme Chan, who created her own fantastical forest illustrations, which are celebrated on the whisky packaging.
