Captivated by the bouquet of our 18-Year-Old whisky, floral artist Makoto Azuma likened this single malt to the wonder of a flower in full bloom. He explains, “The whisky opens with rich, rounded aromas of dried fruit and honey, unfolding into a bouquet of geranium, tuberose, and jasmine. Flavors of honeysuckle, sweet pea, fig, and nuts dance across the palate, fading into a sweet, lingering finish, much like a flower slowly withering.” To capture the smoothness of this whisky, imparted by the bourbon cask and hints of sweet Oloroso sherry casks, Makoto Azuma drew inspiration from the beauty of nearly 100 floral species collected from around the world. He meticulously cultivated these blossoms in his Tokyo studio to create the floral masterpiece, “Dancing Flowers of Glenmorangie,” which is featured in this stunning limited edition.
