Glenmorangie's whiskymakers are constantly inventing new ways to bring the world even more delicious single malts, distilling them in Scotland's tallest stills, each with a giraffe-like neck, to create a more delicate spirit, then maturing them in the finest casks from around the world. Years ago, Whisky Creation Director Dr Bill Lumsden came across a rare Chardonnay white from the renowned Sonoma-Couteurre winery in the birthplace of California wine, Sonoma Valley, and immediately began to imagine how those casks would add a rich, sensual richness to Glenmorangie's spirit.
