Since the early 1980s, we have supported the LGBTQ+ community with a firm belief that people should be free to love who they choose and that everyone should be free to express themselves. In 2008, the 30th anniversary of the Pride Flag and the launch of our first Pride bottle, it was a natural decision to collaborate with Gilbert Baker, one of the most prominent figures in the modern LGBTQ+ movement and the artist and activist who designed the original rainbow flag in 1978. And in 2018, as Gilbert Baker's rainbow flag celebrated its 40th anniversary, we felt it was time to make the rainbow a permanent part of the Absolut family as a symbol of our longstanding support for the LGBTQ+ community. This humble tribute to our late friend Gilbert Baker is presented in the very Absolut Vodka that most closely resembles the immortal legend he is.
