Chicago blues, jazz, soul, and gospel. The birthplace of house music and a hip-hop melting pot. Chicago has always known how to bring people together through creativity, passion, and energy. When we chose Chicago as the next release in our City Series, we wanted to step into that house music, imbue our bottle with its spirit, and become part of that crowd. That's why we partnered with Threadless, a Chicago-based online design community and pioneer of modern crowdsourcing. Best known for their acclaimed t-shirt designs, Threadless operates a model where members submit their work and then vote on the winning design. The winning entry, submitted by Ross Bruggink, was humorous, creative, and bold, yet meticulously thought out down to the smallest detail to resonate with locals. We couldn't be more satisfied. Absolut Chicago is truly a flavor by the crowd, for the crowd. And I'm proud to have contributed, even in a small way, to this city's ongoing history. Speaking of flavor, Absolut Chicago is a vodka infused with olive and rosemary, with a smooth, mellow flavor and a balanced spiciness, making it a perfect accompaniment to classic cocktails like the Dirty Martini.
