It's finally time for Sweden to get its own limited-edition bottle. It was truly inspiring to collaborate with one of Sweden's most inspiring artists, Fredrik Söderberg, to bring the story, mystery, and unique expression of Absolut Svea to life. When we asked Fredrik to portray Sweden on a bottle, he wanted to visualize the stark contrasts of the Swedish seasons: cold and warmth, light and dark, summer and winter. Absolut Svea's flavor opens with distinct notes of red apple, a powerful reflection of Swedish summer, followed by a subtle lingering note of ginger, a common ingredient in bakeries during the long, cold winters. This combination perfectly balances the acidity and freshness of apple with the warm, savory flavor of ginger.
