Vancouver is a city of art, not just for its stunning nature, outdoor adventures, and fresh seafood. This limited-edition bottle is designed to not only embody the city but also directly support its local arts community. As part of our homage to Vancouver's art scene, we asked local illustrator and graphic artist Douglas Fraser to interpret the city's unique character. The design, featuring a bold yellow and blue seaplane soaring above the Vancouver skyline and encapsulated within the iconic "V," epitomizes what it means to live, work, and play in Vancouver. Following the launch of Absolut Vancouver, we launched a competition, asking local artists to submit proposals for up to $120,000 in grants to support Vancouver's arts scene. Vancouverites voted for their favorite talented artists, continuing their engagement with Vancouver's arts scene long after the bottle's launch.
