Chartreuse Green
Product Info
Created in 1840, Liqueur de Santé was the first liqueur made from the original recipe for Elixir Vézetal de la Grande Chartreuse. It was so popular that Father Garnier, a lawyer and liqueur director at the time, officially named it Chartreuse Bert and registered the Chartreuse trademark in 1852. To this day, the liqueur is still produced and made by the monks of the Chartreux Order at the Aigunoir distillery in Entre-d'Ouguières, Isère, France.
