Chartreuse Yellow
Product Info
Created in 1840, this yellow liqueur was inspired by the Elixir Vézetal recipe. Its popularity led Father Garnier, a lawyer and liqueur specialist at the time, to officially name it "Chartreuse Jaune" and register the "Chartreuse" trademark in 1852. With an alcohol content of 43%, the liqueur is still produced today by the monks of the Chartreux Abbey.
