Braving the unforgiving seas, the Caravel, Portugal's iconic sailing ship, braves the harsh elements to reach the furthest corners of the Earth. Paying homage to the Portuguese origins of these great navigators' vessels, our Malt Masters have finished this exceptional maritime whisky in a combination of Ruby, White, and Tawny Port casks. This unusual cask combination, rekindling our own passion for exploration, lends a delicate balance to the turbulent Talisker. A rich, bright golden color ignites the flame of longing, while vivid marine notes of sea air carry oyster shell, salt, and sand dunes over a spicy, peaty base. Between them, rich, sweet hints of white grape, black fruit, and dry tannins swirl.
