Created to commemorate the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool and to honor the whisky's deep connection to golf's oldest and most prestigious tournament, this 25-year-old single malt is distilled from unpeated malts distilled in the distillery's signature straight-neck stills, matured in American oak casks, and finished in Spanish Oloroso casks to create a complex, harmonious blend of ripe peach, juicy pineapple, raisins, melted brown sugar, and warm spice. Bottled at cask strength, it is unchill-filtered and released at 43.2% ABV, retaining its natural colour.
