When creating Cellar Aged, we set out to do something new without forgetting who we are or what we stand for: a bourbon that always ages for taste, not time, and always feels smooth without harshness. Aging whiskey for more than 10 years wasn't something we'd done before. Not because we didn't believe in it, but because we hadn't found our own way. In many ways, Maker's Mark Cellar Aged defines older whiskey while maintaining the distinct character of Maker's Mark. It's built on a vision of flavors crafted over generations, challenging convention and asking what-ifs. By embracing both the effects of traditional cellar aging and the unique aging effects of our unique limestone cellars, we've created a richer, more complex expression without bitterness. The 2025 release blends 11, 13, and 14-year-old Maker's Mark whiskies, resulting in a fruitier, deeper, and more complex bourbon.
