Product Info

This 10-year-old bottled-in-bond bourbon is aged in Warehouse C, the final piece of the "Model Distillery" and the barrel warehouse Colonel Taylor built in 1885, his most prized possession. Like several previous releases, this is a very limited edition, bottled only once. All the barrels used in the E.H. Taylor Jr. Warehouse C release were aged for 10 years in the central section of Warehouse C, half from the second floor and half from the fifth floor. The second floor is an excellent floor for long-aging barrels, with a tight rick structure that makes it slow and difficult to add new barrels, but the very dry bottom makes it ideal for 10-15 year-old products. The fifth floor is a balanced maturation floor, with windows on all sides providing excellent airflow. The ample sunlight streaming in warms the warehouse, aiding the maturation process.
