O.F.C.Product Info
In 1870, E.H. Taylor Jr. named his new distillery O.F.C., short for "Old Fashioned Copper." He invested lavishly in the finest copper stills, copper piping, and copper fermentation tanks to ensure the purity of his spirit, a spirit he continues in today's O.F.C. Vintage range. Each vintage is hand-bottled in a crystal decanter with inlaid copper lettering and presented in an elegant wooden display case. The first release consisted of 200 bottles: 100 from 1980, 50 from 1982, and 50 from 1983. These bottles were given free of charge to non-profit organizations to help raise funds for them. Subsequent releases included the 1985, 1989, and 1990 vintages, and most recently the 1993 and 1994 vintages, each considered rare and collectible. When enjoying an O.F.C. vintage, consider what you were doing the year it began aging, and you'll appreciate just how long this bourbon has been aging in barrel, and the unique flavor experience it offers.
