Product Info
Aberlauer is proud to present its oldest treasure yet, The Mouth of the Chattering Burn. Distilled in 1967 and matured in single casks for over half a century, this remarkable 53-year-old single malt Scotch whisky is presented in a handcrafted vessel with its original mould. Named after the Gaelic meaning of Aberlauer, ‘The Mouth of the Chattering Burn,’ the whisky is presented in a handblown magnum glass decanter, created by renowned Swedish master glassblower Mikke Johansson in collaboration with master moulder Gunnar Englund, and intricately engraved by glass artist Simon Holm. The decanter is mounted on a custom display, repurposed from the original hand-carved wooden mould, making it a one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen creation created specifically for the Distillers One of One charity auction.
