Peerless® Toasted Rye is aged in two different oak barrels. It is first matured in standard char level 3 barrels, where it develops caramel, brown sugar, and toffee notes. The whisky is then finished in toasted barrels, where it infuses complex notes of honey, vanilla, roasted spice, and chocolate. This unique toasted maturation method enhances the aromas and flavors while providing excellent balance.
