Based on the 2022 Honey Smoke Rye (101 proof, limited to 180 bottles), the new single barrel 'Honey Smoke Reserva' is an American whiskey distilled in Kentucky, bottled at 110 proof and labeled with a six-year age. This whiskey features a new 'Oak Bill', a blend of honey barrel staves and Texas Sotol barrel staves, resulting in a much deeper, earthier, smoky complexity than last year's release. The longer age, higher ABV, and extended finish of over five months create a masterpiece, one of the most distinctive spirits ever produced. This new Oak Bill, a Kentucky whiskey finish with sotol and honey, is an industry first for Broken Barrel.
