Product Info
On October 22, 1910, a fire on the bottling line halted production of Old Forester. The mature whiskey, ready for bottling, was instead transferred to a second barrel for storage. This exceptionally fine and remarkable whiskey became an entirely new expression: Old Fine Whiskey. Today, this unique product, reproducing this historic bottling process, undergoes second barrel maturation, developing exceptional character, a smooth, sweet flavor profile, and a clean, refreshing finish. Decanting the whiskey into the second barrel at a lower ABV of 100 proof allowed the wood's natural sweetness to infuse more into the whiskey. 1910 Old Fine Whiskey is the fourth and final release in the Whiskey Low series and is available at 93 proof.
