189.5 PPM. For the first time in Octomore .4 Edition history, Octomore farm-grown barley has been matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and French virgin oak casks. The barley provides a subtle, earthy base, while the bourbon barrels add notes of toasted oak, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, and a subtle sweet smoky flavor. The addition of French virgin oak completes the maturation process, extending this single malt's five-year aging period.
