Unpeated and non-chill-filtered, it is matured in American virgin oak casks and finished in ex-bourbon casks. Refined licorice aromas, with aged oak tones and soft beeswax, lead to a rich palate of Ulmo honey over crispy toast and delicate vanilla notes. The palate is filled with coffee mocha, orange peel, and delicate spice, resting on vibrant tannins, while a soft, oily finish reveals the essence of dark cocoa tones. The finish is satisfyingly long and complex, with varying tones of sugar and delicate honey notes.
