Camus Collection Privée Légion d'Honneur
Product Info
Camus Cognac is proud and honored to present the Légion d'Honneur Private Collection, a tribute to France's highest decoration, the Légion d'Honneur, established in 1802 by First President Napoleon Bonaparte. The expertise of several experts in the arts and crafts has been brought together to create an elegant box to house the Légion d'Honneur Private Collection. Crafted in the pure tradition of lacquerware, which originated in China and Japan 5,000 years ago, this black box is protected by a red leather exterior embossed with the intertwined oak and laurel leaves, emblems of the Légion d'Honneur Prefecture. The refined and harmonious lines of the bottle, inspired by the bottles used to collect the most exclusive spirits during the distillation process, are striking. The body is engraved with the Prefecture's coat of arms cast in platinum, and the neck is adorned with a precious red cord. All purchasers of the Légion d'Honneur Private Collection will have the opportunity to have their name engraved on the leather case. Recipients of the Légion d'Honneur will also have the opportunity to inscribe their rank, title, and the date of their appointment, promotion, or elevation. Camus Cognac wishes to support the projects of the Prefecture of the Légion d'Honneur through the Légion d'Honneur Private Collection. Cyril Camus has decided to donate 25% of the proceeds from the Légion d'Honneur Private Collection to support the Prefecture's heritage restoration project.
