With a phenol content of 35 ppm, this whisky has a smoky, sweet character, thanks to the inland peat from the St. Fergus region used to dry the barley. The complex character of the whisky, developed through a lengthy 160-hour fermentation process, is perfectly complemented by maturation in virgin oak casks.
