Boasting rich, complex and spicy flavours with a pronounced fruit character, Highland Park 40 Year Old is crafted from a selection of just five refill sherry seasoned hogsheads that began maturation in 1981 and 1982. These were matured extensively in Warehouse 8 (traditional dunnage) and Warehouses 24 and 25 (rack), developing a unique smoothness and finesse, along with the natural deep reddish brown colour derived from the casks over a 40-year maturation period.
